FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Chaffee Zoo's biggest animals got a break from their daily diet Sunday for some sweet Valentine's Day treats.
Handlers at the zoo gave the elephants, Shaunzi and Kara, their valentines a day early.
They opened up their gifts at the enclosure, and were treated to snacks of popcorn, hay and orange peels.
But this elephant decided to skip a step and just go right for the box.
Other animals received treats ahead of Valentine's Day.
The birds of prey were given rats and mice and orangutans received yogurt and fruits.
