FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police have a suspect in custody for a Valentine's Day robbery at a Downtown Fresno pawn shop.
Dawte Parker, 21, was arrested Wednesday outside his home. He's accused of a robbery at the Majestic Jewelry Store and Loan on Tulare Street near the Fulton Mall.
Police say he posed as a potential customer and asked to see a gun that was locked in a case. When an employee placed the unloaded firearm on the counter for Parker to examine -- he says Parker took the gun and ran.
Officers say they found the stolen gun in Parker's possession at the time of his arrest.
