FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Farmers enjoyed record high prices in the previous two years leading them to purchase more sheep and build larger herds. However, lamb prices have dropped by about half since then.
Ranchers say dry weather across the country contributed to the decrease. Lamb farmers anticipate the situation could start to improve by next summer.
