FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- South Valley teenagers with their school's Reserve Officer Training Core who competed in Florida in the Navy Nationals this weekend came home with an award.
37 cadets with Lemoore High School's ROTC Program went against the top 25 campuses in the country. They placed 11th out of 25 teams overall, winning second place in the nation in unarmed exhibition. And fourth place in the country in the 16- hundred shuttle run.
They competed in ten different events, including color guard, armed and un-armed drill team and academic competitions.
It was the team's third time competing at the Navy Nationals.
