Stores gear up for Halloween

There will be no shortage of ghosts, ghouls and goblins this Halloween.

It's estimated, you, your family and friends will spend more this year on Halloween costumes, candy and decorations -- an average of $66.54 per person. That's up ten dollars from $56.31 last year.

The national retail federation says Halloween provides a welcome break from the stressful reality of the economy. And more people will celebrate over the weekend because this year, Halloween falls on a Sunday.
