'Carrie' coffee shop prank is really creative movie trailer
Wednesday, October 09, 2013
NEW YORK (KFSN) -- The remake of Stephen King's "Carrie" is set to hit theaters next Friday, and the film studio is trying to scare up some fans with a new prank.
They set it up in a coffee shop in New York. Here's the premise -- what if a person really could move things with telekinesis.
A crew rigged the shop with remote-controlled tables as well as spring-loaded books, built a fake wall and brought in a stuntman and some actors. Then some unsuspecting customers had their jaws drop when a coffee spill appeared to send a woman into a fit of rage.
The movie "Carrie" hits theaters on October 18.
