City of Fresno Prescription Discount Card

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The City of Fresno has unveiled a program that will make prescription drugs less expensive for residents.

                      |   Get Your Prescription Discount Card   |

The city will provide discount cards that will reduce the price by up to 20 percent on prescriptions that are not covered by insurance.

The card has no enrollment or membership fees and there are no claim forms to fill out.

The idea was introduced by City Councilmember Henry Perea ... particularly for low-income and senior citizens who might have a difficult time affording prescription drugs.
