An Animal protest of a different kind in Fresno.

The group "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" held a public shower at the corner of Shaw and Blackstone.

The hope was to use the stunt to get the attention of people passing by, to get across a message on what it says is the impact of eating meat on the environment.

The group says it takes sixth months of showers to equal the amount of water used to prepare a pound of beef.
