Fresno Fairgrounds Fire

Fresno, CA, USA (KFSN) -- A fire at the Fresno Fairgrounds racetrack forced the partial evacuation of one of the offices.

Firefighters responded to the call around eight this evening. Officials said smoke was pouring out of the third floor grandstand.

Fire crews had to use a ladder to evacuate the people inside. Investigators aren't ruling out arson at this time and said it might have started in a trashcan.

Everyone got out okay and damage is estimated at about $10,000 dollars. All betting at the track had to be cancelled for the night and tomorrow's betting may have to be relocated to Club One Casino.
