Fresno, CA (KFSN) -- Getting rid of your old computers and electronics doesn't have to cost you.
Today the Fresno Fairgrounds hosted their monthly e-waste disposal where people come by and drop off their unwanted electronics such as television monitors, computers, and copy machines.
The items are no longer accepted at landfills, but once a month, you can take them to the fairgrounds free of charge.
"It helps keep people working, it promotes the environment, it's a good way to divert things from filling up the landfills," said Fresno Fairgrounds service assistant Stephen Crouth.
Workers said turnout is getting better every month, but today was the last monthly drop off before the big Fresno Fair. The next one won't be held until November, after the fair is over.
