Hiker Dies after fall near Tenaya Falls

Fresno, CA (KFSN) -- A hiking accident has killed one person in the Madera County Mountains.

The Madera County Sheriff's Department says a couple was hiking near Tenaya Falls near Fish Camp -- when the husband slipped and fell into a pool of water.

His wife pulled him out of the water, but was not able to save him. The couple was vacationing from Southern California.
