FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested four young men for a double murder near Dos Palos.
20-year-old Bryan Bridgeford and 20-year-old Jose German were arrested early Tuesday morning, along with a 17-year-old whose identity is not being released. Thursday, a 16-year-old was also taken into custody.
The four suspects are accused of shooting 16-year-old Leonel Medina and 21-year-old Juan Avalos while the two were listening to music in Medina's garage last week.
Detectives also believe they now know the motive for the execution style shooting.
Merced County Sheriff Mark Pazin said, "The two victims and the suspects had been in a verbal feud in the weeks leading up to this murder. And there are some gang overtones."
Detectives have also recovered a weapon they believe was used in the murders.
