FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Mendota man faces 25-years to life in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting his neighbor.
Jose Murillo was arrested two years ago after being found at the home of the victim, a ten year old girl.
Investigators say Murillo broke into the, but during the attack the girl was able to escape and tell her father what happened.
Officials say Murillo had also broke into the victim's home two years before that incident.
Murillo will be sentenced next month.
