Action News was there minutes after the car was removed from the apartment. Investigators say the driver was trying to park, and hit the gas instead of the brake pedal.
The car launched through the front room, running over the girl who was sitting on the couch watching TV. Her dad rushed downstairs to find his daughter underneath the mess. The girl was not hurt, but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The CHP says the driver did not have a license, and may face charges.
