CENTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- A suspected car thief is in police custody this morning after a chase through two counties.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office, Highway Patrol and Kingsburg Police pursued the driver who they say stole a car in Dinuba.
Officers say around 3 o'clock this morning, the driver dumped the car at a mobile home park in Centerville and tried to run but was quickly caught.
Dinuba Police told Action News an officer shot at the suspect, but neither suspect nor the officer were hurt. It's not yet known why the officer shot at the man.
Dinuba police say they are still investigating what happened and expect to release more information later Wednesday.
