Chop shop with ties to Bulldog gang busted in Fresno

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Four suspects are under arrest for running a suspected chop shop in East Central Fresno.

Authorities with the multi-agency "HEAT" team -- or Help Eliminate Auto Theft -- say they tracked the suspects in a stolen car - back to a home on Washington near Chestnut.

They claim the suspects -- two adults and two juveniles -- began sawing and taking the car apart while officers were outside. Police add -- the suspects have Bulldog gang ties and are major players in a car theft ring.

Two other cars were on the property but it's unclear if they were also stolen.
