Being a Santa to seniors

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Here in the valley hundreds of seniors are in for a Christmas treat next week -- after a giant gift wrapping party in East Central Fresno.

Volunteers spent hours wrapping gifts at Valley Adult Daycare Saturday all donated in the community's Be a Santa to a Senior Gift Drive.

All of the gifts wrapped were donated by people who picked up paper ornaments at valley Walgreens and CVS stores and then purchased the items requested, leaving them at the store.

The volunteers who wrapped the gifts came from several different organizations, including the Boy Scouts.

Next week, the gifts will be delivered all over the valley.
