Smash and grab caught on tape in Kerman

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities in Kerman are on the lookout after a bold burglary at a cell phone store.

It happened just after 4:00 Friday morning at the Cricket store off Madera Avenue.

Surveillance video shows thieves rushing in after tossing a rock through the glass door.

The boulder also shattered a cell phone case. Then, the suspects kept kicking another case, trying to break it open.

Property owner, Gary Yep said, "Obviously they had an idea of the layout, they had an idea of what they wanted and they got in and they got out and hopefully somebody saw them and reported that."

An audible alarm sent the burglars running after being inside the store for just 12 seconds.

The suspects got away with several expensive phones.
