Fatal motorcycle crash near Kerman

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead after an accident near Kerman in Fresno County.

The California Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Whitesbridge Avenue and Bishop in Fresno County near the city of Kerman.

The C.H.P. says a 39-year-old man crashed his motorcycle into a big rig on Whitesbridge and died on the scene. Whitesbridge Avenue was partially blocked east of Kerman because of the accident, but was back open late Wednesday morning.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
