FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Crews at Playland in Roeding Park have repaired thousands of dollars in damage done by vandals, just in time for the holiday weekend. Storyland Playland CEO Barry Falke tells Action News someone broke in Friday night and cut several locks, so they could activate the rides.
They also damaged the dock and sent all the boats out into Lake Washington. Crews worked quickly to make repairs, and we're told all rides are up and running for the weekend. But the non-profit had to shell out about $2,500 to make those repairs.
