FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A search is underway for an inmate who walked away from a North Valley prison camp.
Officials at the satellite prison camp in Atwater discovered Javier Beltran missing during routine rounds Sunday afternoon.
They have since notified local law enforcement agencies and we're told the FBI is also involved in the investigation.
Beltran is a Los Angeles resident who was serving a five year sentence for drug charges at the minimum security facility.
He's five feet, five inches tall and weighs 172 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
If you see him, you are urged to contact authorities immediately.
