Fresno County suspect in Halloween rape ID'd

Fresno County Sheriff's Detectives have just revealed the identity of one of the suspects in a rape at a local truck stop.

PRESS RELEASE:

The suspect in Monday's rape at the Hill Crest Travel Plaza, at 44779 S. Lassen Avenue, has been identified as Michael Donavan Stanford DOB: 10/17/70. Stanford is described as a white male, 6'03, 220 lbs, green eyes, brown hair, with grown out facial hair, sideburns and unknown tattoos on both arms. Stanford is accused of brutally raping a worker at the truck stop after forcing his way into her office and assaulting her for over an hour. Stanford is possibly in a white 1989 Chevy truck CA License # 8X57546.
