FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno's Poverello House has received a welcome donation that will go a long way toward helping feed the hungry this holiday season.
The Poverello House serves meals every day of the year, and on Tuesday folks from Wathen Castanos Homes were helping serve lunches.
Earlier they were handing over a check from the company and its trade partners to keep those meals coming.
"It's not just Wathen Castanos. It's our trade partners, people who do our lending and put the roofs on our homes and stand the walls ,they've also been contributing," Peter Castanos said.
This is the third year of donations to the Poverello House. This year the combined efforts netted just over $7 thousand.
