FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced Police Department needs your help finding the people responsible for causing thousands of dollars of damage to Golden Valley High School.
The crime happened during the Thanksgiving holiday break.
Investigators said the suspects did a great deal of damage while stealing copper wire.
Meanwhile, across town authorities reported thousands of dollars in damage and lost property at Merced High School.
Thieves broke into school buses parked at the school.
Due to the property damage, the school district will spend thousands of dollars to restore communication lines and lighting in Veterans Stadium at Golden Valley.
