FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno County mother who deputies say helped her son after he shot a 91-year-old woman has been arrested, again.
Gina Valdez was previously charged with being an accessory after the crime. Tuesday night she was booked back into jail on charges of intimidating a witness and committing a felony while on bail. She and her son are due back in court today (Wednesday, January 11, 2012).
Valdez' 17-year-old son, Oscar Soto pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and robbery two weeks ago. He is being charged as an adult in this case.
Deputies say Soto shot 91-year-old Marcella Miller in the face in her San Joaquin home on Thanksgiving Day.
