MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sarah Wade, 14, went missing Wednesday after deputies say she did not return from turning off the water at her family's horse ranch. Deputies say Wade's dog returned, but Sarah did not.

Sarah is described as 5'5" tall, 120 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. She is home schooled, does not have a cell phone and all of her belongings are at the house. Family members say it is highly uncharacteristic of her to disappear like this. Wade's family said she is unfamiliar with the area and fear something has happened to her.
