Strathmore HS Coach arrested on child porn charges

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Paul Corona III, 25 of Porterville, was arrested on Wednesday after a report that a cell phone was found with explicit images of a student and a Strathmore High School staff member.

According to the Tulare County Sheriff's Department, deputies examined the phone and discovered that Corona had been communicating with a student through text messages. The messages occurred in late October and early November 2011, and included explicit images of both the student and Corona.

Corona was arrested and charged with possession of child Pornography and Distribution of harmful matter.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Department is still investigating the case.
