Tornado touches down in Fresno County

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A tornado touched down in western Fresno County during Saturday's storms.

Action News viewer Yesenia Ibarra took this picture around 3:30 in the afternoon, while she was driving near Highway 33 and Mountain View Road -- southwest of the town of Tranquility.

The National Weather Service confirms that this was actually a tornado. They say there was no damage or injuries reported because of the twister -- but we did receive a call into the newsroom Sunday from a viewer who said they took cover after seeing the funnel cloud touch down.
