FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Just after 11 o'clock Friday morning, officers with MAGEC, also known as the Multi Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium, served a search warrant at a house near Bankston and Emerson.
Officers went to the scene after getting information that led them to believe that the suspect had an assault weapon. Inside the home, they found much more.
"Detectives were able to locate, not just the assault weapon, which is the black weapon with the bayonet, another shotgun and several rounds of ammunition," Lt. Burke Farrah told Action News. "So at this point he's in custody in violation of California weapons law."
The suspect, 23-year-old Dragon Ly surrendered, and confessed.
Officers say he was arrested just a few weeks ago, on a drug charge.
