FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Deputies in Merced County arrested three men after two pursuits in two different stolen cars.
Investigators say 25-year old Robert Koch, 25, and Tyler Mcever, 22, were passengers in a stolen car that crashed into a canal bank after a high speed chase with deputies in Dos Palos.
The driver, 26-year-old Thomas Turman, got away by swimming across the canal and carjacking another driver. Deputies finally caught up with him after yet another pursuit.
All three were booked for stealing cars.
