Fresno Co head-on crash kills 1, injures 2

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead and two others hurt after a head-on crash overnight in Fresno County.

Two pick-up trucks crashed on Shaw near Westlawn. The California Highway Patrol says a Chevy pick-up going eastbound drifted into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a Toyota Tacoma.

The driver of the Chevy was pronounced dead on the scene. A passenger in the Chevy and the driver of the Toyota Tacoma were taken to the hospital. The driver of the Tacoma suffered major injuries. No word on the passenger's condition.

Both drivers were from Fresno.
