Mariposa man faces child porn charges

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Mariposa man is facing child pornography charges Saturday after sheriff's investigators received a tip.

Brian McDonald, 52, was arrested April 19th, then released on bail just a few days later. The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office says a resident tipped them off to alleged child molestation in March, but during their investigation deputies found child pornography.

McDonald was arrested, but posted $40,000 bail on April 24th. He is expected in court May 31st.
