Robbery, fake gun, & snake in Northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police made a bizarre arrest following a robbery in Northeast Fresno

Investigators got a call of an armed robbery around 4:15 Tuesday afternoon from the Fashion Fair Mall.

Police say four men with a gun approached a man outside of JC Penney and demanded money. The suspects then took off in a car.

Not long after, authorities pulled over the car and arrested the suspects. They determined the car was stolen and the gun was not a real.

The strangest part about this case -- authorities found a live snake in the car -- curled up in a soda bottle.
