Inmates Walk Away from Mendota Minimum Security Prison

Two inmates were discovered missing during an inmate count on Monday morning.

The Satellite Prison Camp in Mendota says inmate Raymundo Osorio and Francisco Cardenas were found missing Monday morning during an inmate count.

The F.B.I. and U.S. Marshals Service working with local law enforcement agencies to find the two missing inmates.

Inmate Raymundo Osorio is a Hispanic male. Osorio is a resident of Riverside, CA, is five feet ten inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana.

Inmate, Francisco Cardenas, is a Hispanic male. Cardenas is a resident of San Diego, CA, is five feet five inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was convicted of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

If you see either of these suspects, you are urged to contact local law enforcement.
