Fire damages Visalia restaurant

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A fire that damaged a Visalia restaurant is under investigation Monday morning.

The Visalia Fire Department says they were called to the Casa Grande Restaurant Sunday morning. About 27 firefighters battled the flames for about two hours before they got the fire under control.

The restaurant was seriously damaged but firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby businesses. At this point the fire appears to be accidental and damage is estimated to be between $300,000 and $400,000.
