FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The fire broke out just before midnight on the roof of a furniture store at the corner of Kings Canyon Road and Backer. Authorities say firefighters were able to contain the flames to the back of the building and quickly got the fire under control.
No one was in the store at the time of the fire and no injuries have been reported. No word yet on a damage estimate.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation but authorities say a witness heard fireworks before the flames erupted.
