FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police say an argument developed into a fight and knife attack, and now one victim is in critical condition.
When they arrived, police described the scene as "chaotic" and said neighbors were yelling and screaming at each other. They say a stabbing victim was found lying in the front yard of a house on Sierra Vista near Church Ave. He reportedly had several stab wounds to his stomach, chest and head.
After speaking with witnesses, Police arrested 21-year-old Gerardo Delatorre of Fresno. He is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
The stabbing victim is listed in critical but stable conditions at Community Regional Medical Center.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the attack, or has any information on the incident, to call the Fresno Police Department at 621-7000.
