Merced party shooting injures one

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced Police say a large party got out of control and turned violent with one person shot.

Merced Police say the shooting happened on "W" Street near 10th around 10 p.m. Sunday night. Authorities say someone fired several shots outside an apartment complex where a large party was taking place. One man was hit and was taken to a Modesto hospital. He's expected to be okay.

Merced Police are still looking for the shooter.
