FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A traffic accident and explosion Tuesday afternoon led to a power outage in Madera.
Investigators say a pick-up truck swerved into the path of an oncoming big rig at Avenue 12 and Road 26 1/2.
The two trucks collided, the big rig hit a power pole as a result and then exploded in a ball of fire.
The driver of the big rig walked away without any injuries. Two people in the pickup suffered moderate to major injuries.
The crash knocked out power to dozens of PG&E customers in Madera.
