Body found in burning truck near Del Rey

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death, after a body was found inside a burning truck in Fresno County.

Authorities say the incident happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday night on Adams and Del Rey. According to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, when authorities arrived at the scene, they found a truck on fire. When firefighters put out the flames, they realized there was a body inside.

At this point it's not clear if the body is that of a man or a woman. Authorities are still trying to figure out exactly how the person died.
