FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The boys head basketball coach at Central High School was arrested after police say, he was driving drunk and hit a family. And we've now learned that a 7-year-old child identified as Donavon Maldonado has died.

Officers say, Loren Lebeau, 42, struck Maldonado and two others in a crosswalk. The accident happened on Shepherd Avenue near Millbrook in Northeast Fresno around nine o'clock Wednesday night.
The Central High School Basketball Coach is officially on paid administrative leave after his arrest Wednesday night on a deadly DUI charge.
Loren Lebeau bailed out of jail around 10:30 Thursday morning but faces a long list of charges, including vehicular manslaughter.
