FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno County District Attorney's Office filed charges today against Loren LeBeau, who is accused of killing a seven-year-old boy in a crosswalk last month.
LeBeau faces charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, D.U.I. causing injury, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 causing injury, and hit and run resulting in death or permanent injury.
Investigators say about an hour after the crash, Loren LeBeau's blood alcohol content was point 11 -- over the limit of point 08.
Donovan Maldonado, 7, died after police say he was dragged several hundred feet. Police say Donovan was on a bike ride with his family at the time. His father and 18-month-old sister were also struck. His sister suffered a critical brain injury.
