Fowler Police look for attempted kidnapping suspect

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fowler Police are looking for man who is suspected of trying to kidnap a child.

The incident happened near Fremont Elementary on Wednesday. Police say a man spoke Spanish and told the child to get in his car. The 8-year-old was able to get away and ran to a family member's home.

The child was not hurt. The suspect was driving a black newer model SUV.
