Police release video from Parlier break-in

Friday, August 24, 2012

Police in Parlier are looking for the crook responsible for a convenience store burglary overnight that was caught on camera.

The real victims in the case - cancer patients.

Investigators released surveillance video from the U-Save Market in Parlier shot at about 1 a.m. Friday morning. You can see someone throw a cinder block through one of the glass doors. Then, a suspect wearing a Spiderman mask climbs through the hole in the door.

He rushes in and goes right for two cancer donation jars that were sitting near the checkout counter. Investigators say those jars had about $400 in cash inside.

The thief then rushes out of the store. Anyone with any information about the break-in is asked to contact Parlier police.
