Auto parts employee shot in Merced

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- North Valley authorities are searching for the man who shot an employee at a Merced auto-parts store.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Thursday night on West 16th near G Street. Merced Police say no customers were inside the store when the employee was shot.

The gunman got away and police are still trying to figure out the motive for the shooting.
