Fresno cop arrested on rape charges

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno police officer has been arrested on rape charges.

William Wyatt was arrested after the district attorney filed charges against him.

According to a search warrant, Wyatt spent the night drinking at a Northwest Fresno bar with an officer from a different police department.

The victim told investigators she was drunk and didn't remember most of the night and found out after finding pictures.

Prosecutors have been investigating the crime since February.
