SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person was rushed to the hospital after a shooting outside a Selma home.
Police say several shots were fired from a green van toward the home on Thompson near Huntsman in Selma. One man was hit and he was rushed by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center.
Investigators say several people were nearby when the shooting happened, and the suspects left bullet casings in the street.
"It was first reported as a drive-by shooting. The vehicle was described as a possibly green Chevy Astro van. We do not know at this time how many occupants we're still gathering information on that," said Sgt. Terry Reid with the Selma Police Department.
Investigators say the van was last seen driving south on Thompson Avenue.
No arrests have been made.
