FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Hundreds of motorcyclists hit the road Sunday to make a special delivery at Children's Hospital Central California.
The group rode to the hospital from Visalia this morning for the Happy Hearts Motorcyle Poker Run. Dozens of excited kids were there to greet them.
The riders gave out goodie bags filled with toys, puzzles, crayons, and other fun items.
Skip Nugent started happy hearts in 2003 after his teenage daughter was killed in a car accident.
He says he wanted to give back for the kindness Children's Hospital showed to his daughter's friends and family.
This was the 8th annual Happy Hearts Motorcycle Run, and organizers say they plan to keep it going and add even more riders in the future.
