FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thousands of people flocked to Fowler to celebrate Fall Fest on Saturday.
The hometown parade and festival featured marching bands and community floats competing for top awards.
Visitors also enjoyed food, crafts and entertainment in the park.
Fowler Lions Club member and Superintendent of Fowler Unified Schools Eric Cedarquist says the annual event is a way for the community to celebrate its agricultural heritage and bountiful harvest of the region.
"We estimate 7500 people will attend the community event and the schools are very much apart of that and the parents support this event greatly," Cedarquist said.
Local businesses, police and fire and city leaders also took part in the celebrations.
