FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is on critical condition following an early morning shooting at a Fresno County residence. The Fresno County Sheriff's Department says it happened at a trailer off Valentine near Nielsen.
Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Curtice says the man's girlfriend drove him to the hospital after the shooting. Community Regional Medical Center contacted the Sheriff's office.
Crime scene tape was put up Thursday morning and detectives are investigating the area. Deputy Curtice says authorities are also investigating some evidence near the trailer but could not elaborate on what it was.
Authorities say they plan to get more details from the victim and his girlfriend to help further the investigation.
